Sauteed Garlic Asparagus with Crumbled Bacon and Parmesan Cheese

This asparagus is so flavorful.  It is the perfect side for those picky husbands who need to have a ton of flavor added to veggies just to make them palatable.  Try it as a side to a steak or fish.  You will fall in love with these tasty veggies.

First you will need to collect your ingredients.  There is not much needed for this recipe.  You will only need some asparagus, butter, minced garlic, and salt and pepper.

Also, not listed, you will need some cooked and crumbled bacon and shredded parmesan cheese.

Start by heating a large skillet over medium high heat.

Add 2 tablespoon of butter to the hot skillet.

Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.  Cook for about 1 minute.

Take this minute to chop the hard ends off of your asparagus.

Now, add them to the skillet.  Cook until tender and bright green.

Add the cooked and crumbled bacon and sprinkle with some shredded parmesan cheese.  

Serve these tasty veggies with a steak or salmon.

Ingredients
  1. 1 lb asparagus
  2. 2 tablespoons butter
  3. 1 tsp minced garlic
  4. salt and pepper, to taste
  5. 6 slices cooked bacon
  6. 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
Instructions

  2. 2. Add butter. Heat until melted. Add minced garlic and cook for about one minute.
  3. 3. Add asparagus to skillet and cook until tender.
  4. 4. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded parmesan cheese over asparagus and serve!
