Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

This oatmeal has a wonderful texture.  It’s not like the store bought instant and gooey oatmeal!

Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients
  1. 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  2. 1 cup packed brown sugar
  3. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 1 cup milk
  8. 1/2 cup butter, melted
  9. 2 apples, peeled and diced (I prefer macintosh)
  10. Additional milk
Instructions
  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients.
  2. 2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and butter. Stir the oat mixture until blended. Fold in the apples.
  3. 3. Spoon onto a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until set. Add milk to bowl and serve.
  4. Enjoy!
